Marrakech — Agafay Desert Sunset Camel Ride & Dinner at Camp

A golden-hour camel ride across the stony Agafay desert with the Atlas on the horizon, then tea and a tagine dinner under the stars.

Highlights

Camel ride at sunset with views of the snow-capped High Atlas
Moroccan mint tea welcome at a desert camp
Three-course dinner: salads, tagine and seasonal fruit
Live Gnaoua / Berber music by the campfire
Round-trip transfer from your Marrakech hotel or riad

About this experience

The Agafay is Marrakech's nearest desert: a rolling plateau of ochre hills and dry riverbeds, only 45 minutes from the medina. It is the easiest way to taste desert life without the long drive to the Sahara.

We pick you up in the afternoon, ride camels as the sun drops behind the hills, then sit down at a Berber-style camp for mint tea, a three-course dinner and live music around the fire before driving you back to Marrakech.
